It's the story of a domineering father and his five spoiled children. The patriarch, Dhikku, tries to keep his children happy by buying them whatever they want, but this only leads to more problems than solutions. The children grow out of control and their demands become increasingly outlandish. They demand bigger and better toys, clothes and jewelry; they don't even care about the family dog anymore - all they want is more! Much of the humor in Chaalis Chauraasi comes from the way that Dhikku fights with his wife over spoiling their children (she wants to stop) while he wants more for them (he can't say no). Dhikku believes that if he just keeps giving his children more, they will leave him alone. But the children are only getting more obnoxious and harder to manage. The story also touches on the older generation's frustration with younger generations' "entitled" attitude. There are no good endings for this scenario, so the only hope is that Dhikku's children will eventually grow up and become responsible adults devoid of childish selfishness. This is a completely different concept of MUDDA MUJHE MAARO from another Bollywood movie, which was a sequel to 1942: A LOVE STORY . This movie is really remarkable! I admit, I was warned that this movie might be a little too lengthy for me, but I was still blown away by the sheer magnitude of this film. The screenplay was very cleverly written. The high quality of the cinematography alone is enough to make this one of the best action movies to ever come out of India. The acting was well done all around, including the minor characters. Although this film has a few touching moments, it is primarily an action movie. There are amazing stunts that were executed with perfect timing and precision. The actors must have all worked very hard to prepare for this film because there were numerous scenes that were so realistically choreographed. The explosions and death scenes were especially well done. I really enjoyed this movie and I will probably watch it multiple times in the coming months! The background music was also incredibly well done, changing in tone and completely changing the atmosphere of scenes. There was just enough musical score added to enhance scenes and scenes without much music at all. Chaalis Chauraasi has very realistic and relatable characters; the story is quite memorable because of how grounded it is in reality. Surprisingly, there was no shortage of humor or witty dialogue either. The movie had exactly the right balance of jaw-dropping action and romantic drama. The film's climax was also well done because it really managed to be both terrifying and heart-wrenching. The overall quality of the production was top notch. There were not very many technical flaws that I could find, although there were a few minor continuity errors here and there. There was one part near the beginning where I thought another character would say something, but he didn't.
